Reddit Leads Finder
Recent threads where people ask for a product like yours, ranked by how ready they are to buy.
How it works
What is the Reddit Leads Finder?
The Reddit Leads Finder is a free tool that finds recent Reddit threads where people are asking for a product like yours. It searches for recommendation and alternative requests around your keywords, then an AI model reads each thread against what you sell, keeps the ones from likely buyers, and says how to reply without a pitch.
How to use the Reddit Leads Finder
- In What you sell, describe your product in a sentence or two, including who it is for.
- In Keywords, enter up to three, separated by commas: your category and the problem you solve.
- Pick how recent the threads should be. Past month is a good start.
- Press Find leads. Threads marked Ready to buy are people choosing now; Exploring means they have the problem but are not choosing yet.
- Open a thread, read it in full, and reply with something useful. The How to help line is a starting point, not a script.
What counts as a lead on Reddit?
Someone asking the question your product answers: "what do you use for X", "looking for an alternative to Y", "is there a tool that does Z", "which is best for a team of five". People ask these on Reddit every day because they trust other users' experience more than vendor websites, and they usually say exactly what they need, what they have tried and what they can spend.
The tool searches for those phrasings around your keywords, then judges each thread against your product description. A thread that uses your keyword in an unrelated sense is dropped, and so are threads from people selling something themselves. What is left is sorted into Ready to buy and Exploring, strongest first.
The description you give matters. Say what the product does, who it is for and what it is not: "a CRM for agencies of under 20 people, not for enterprise sales teams" lets the model drop threads from people who would never buy it. Keywords work best as your category plus the problem in plain words, such as agency CRM, track client projects.
Why Reddit threads that rank on Google matter most
Search engines rank Reddit threads near the top for a great many product questions, and AI assistants draw on them when people ask for recommendations. A thread asking for the best tool in your category may be read by thousands of people over the following months, long after the person who asked has chosen.
This tool finds threads through search for exactly that reason: the threads it returns are the ones search engines already show. A clear, honest reply in one of them keeps working for every later reader with the same question, which makes it worth far more than a reply in a thread nobody will find again.
How do you reply to a Reddit lead without getting banned?
Answer the question first, and mention your product only where it genuinely fits, saying that you made it or work on it. Most subreddits remove replies that are only a link, and Reddit users are quick to call out a pitch dressed up as advice. A reply that compares a few options honestly, including where yours is not the best choice, does better than one that pretends to be neutral.
Check each subreddit's rules on self-promotion before replying. Some forbid it entirely; others allow it from people who take part in other threads too. Reply from an account with some history, never from several accounts at once, and do not send private messages to people who did not ask for them.
Cold outreach or warm engagement on Reddit?
Warm engagement wins on Reddit. Messaging strangers about your product is unwelcome on most subreddits, gets reported as spam, and can get an account suspended. Replying in public to someone who asked a question is the opposite: they invited answers, other readers see that you helped, and the reply stays useful.
Threads marked Exploring are worth replying to as well, with advice rather than a recommendation. The person has the problem but is not choosing yet, and people remember who helped them understand it when they do come to choose. The count at the top shows how many threads were checked in total, so you can see how often your category comes up.
Questions
- Can you find customers on Reddit?
- Yes. People ask for product recommendations on Reddit every day. This tool finds the recent threads where they ask for something like what you sell.
- Is it allowed to promote on Reddit?
- It depends on the subreddit. Reddit expects people to take part honestly and to say when they are linked to a product they mention. Many subreddits ban self-promotion; read the rules before replying.
- Why search the web instead of Reddit directly?
- Because Reddit's own search ranks poorly for questions, and because the threads that rank on search engines are the ones future buyers will read. A reply there keeps reaching people.
- How recent are the threads?
- You choose: the past week, month or year, or any time. Very new threads, from the last few hours, may not show up yet.
- How does it judge buying intent?
- An AI model reads each thread's title and opening against your product description, and sorts them into ready to buy, exploring, or not a lead. Read the thread yourself before replying; the model only sees the start of it.
- Is the Reddit leads finder free?
- Yes, with a free hyperank account. You can run it twice an hour.
