Twitter Account Worth Calculator
What an account's reach is worth per post, worked out from its visible numbers.
How it works
What is the Twitter Account Worth Calculator?
The Twitter Account Worth Calculator is a free tool that estimates what one sponsored post on an X account is worth. It takes the median views of the account's recent original posts, prices them at $2, $6 and $12 per 1,000 views, and adjusts the result up or down for how strongly people engage.
How to use the Twitter Account Worth Calculator
- Enter the account in the X handle field. The @ is optional.
- Press Estimate value. The tool reads the account's recent original posts that show a view count.
- Read the By CPM table for the per-post value at the $2, $6 and $12 rates.
- Check The formula line, which fills in the numbers, and the inputs: median views, engagement rate, engagement band and posts analysed.
How is a Twitter account's worth calculated?
Here the formula is median views ÷ 1,000 × CPM × engagement multiplier. CPM is the price an advertiser pays per 1,000 views, and the calculator shows three: $2, $6 and $12.
The multiplier comes from the median engagement rate, interactions per view. 3% or more is Strong, × 1.5. 1.5% or more is Healthy, × 1.2. 0.5% or more is Typical, × 1. Anything lower is Low, × 0.7.
Why median views rather than followers?
Followers include accounts that no longer read their timeline, so a follower count says little about how many people see a post. Views do. The median post is the one a sponsor can expect, where an average can be pulled up by a single viral post.
The engagement band then separates an audience that reads from one that acts. Two accounts with the same median views can be worth different amounts if one gets far more replies, reposts and likes per view.
What does an account worth estimate tell you?
It is a sponsorship rate: what an advertiser might pay for one post on the account. It is not a sale price for the account, and it is not what X pays the account holder.
Use it as a starting point when you price a sponsored post or check a quote from a creator. If you have been paid for posts before, replace the CPM with your own rate and the formula still holds.
Questions
- How much is my Twitter account worth?
- Your Twitter account's worth to a sponsor is roughly your median views per post ÷ 1,000 × the CPM they pay, adjusted for engagement. Enter your handle in this calculator to see that figure at $2, $6 and $12 CPM.
- Is a Twitter account worth calculator accurate?
- A Twitter account worth calculator gives an estimate, not a quote. This one shows its formula and every input, median views, engagement rate and the multiplier, so you can see where the number comes from and swap in the rates you have been paid.
- How much should I charge for a sponsored post on X?
- Start from your median views per post. At $6 per 1,000 views, the middle rate here, divide the views by 1,000 and multiply by 6, then adjust for engagement. This calculator does that and shows the low and high end beside it.
